Rawalpindi: Four sustained injuries as Indian Army resorted to unprovoked firing along Line of Control (LoC) in Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK).

According to Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR), Indian forces again violated cease fire, opened firing and attacked Chaffar, Chari Kot and Kakuta villages near Abbaspur of Ponch Sector, Azad Jammu Kashmir. Four suffered injuries including 15-year old girl and an old man of 60.

Injured were shifted to the hospital in Abbaspur for medical assistance.

Pakistani forces also responded effectively to the Indian violation of cease fire.

Tension between two countries, i.e. Pakistan and India, reached peak after Uri attack, after which India claimed to have carried out surgical strikes along Line of Control in which two Pakistani soldiers were martyred. However, it remained unsuccessful to provide evidence of the ‘strike’.

Last week, on Wednesday night a woman also suffered severe injuries when Indian troops resorted to unprovoked firing along Line of Control in Baroh area of Bhimber sector, AJK.
