FIR registers case against employer for torturing child maid in Islamabad

Islamabad: First Information Report (FIR) has been registered against the employer of a little maid who was recovered from a house in Islamabad.

The 12-year old girl was employed in a house where she was being tortured by her employers. The little girl bears visible torture marks on her body.

According to Saima, her parents brought her to Almas Bibi as homemade and handled all details regarding remuneration; he also used to collect the salary from her employers.

She told that just after her arrival she was being tortured and abused by Almas, her son Muhammed Ahmed, her daughter Amna and another employee Bashir.

Saima also reported to the police that Almas, yesterday, instructed another maid to pour boiling water on 12-year old maid and said he would kill her. However, she heard all the conversation and ran away to the neighbour’s home and found shelter there.

Neighbours later reported the matter to the police.

The police had arrested Almas Bibi and her employee Imtiaz and launched FIR against accused.
