Fake registry case , IHC resents over investigation officer’s unreasonable behavior

Islamabad , December 05 (Online): The Islamabad High Court (IHC) while resenting Inspector General of Police (IGP) Amir Zulfiqar and Chief Commissioner Islamabad Amir Ahmed Ali on Wednesday remarked that the investigation officer’s behaviour during a routine investigation was unreasonable.
The court observed that the sub-registrar who conducted wrong investigation was attempted to rescue from the case which is a serious violation. The IHC remarked during hearing of a case pertaining to fake registries was being issued to people.
A two-member bench comprises IHC Chief Justice Athar Minallah and Mian Gul Hassan Aurangzeb conducted hearing of the case. IGP Amir Zulfiqar and Chief Commissioner Islamabad Amir Ahmed Ali were also present in the court.
Mian Gul Hassan remarked the investigation officer’s behaviour wasn’t reasonable during interrogation. The investigation officer allegedly attempted to exclude the sub registrar from the case.
The IGP informed the court that the police department had formed an investigation committee and the issue will soon be cleared. The chief commission also informed the court that the transfer of money in the capital city is a must within a week.
He said the complicated form for rural areas has also been improved to make easy filling of application form for a common man. Gul Aurangzeb further remarked the investigation officer didn’t surface the crime which is result of system failure.
The IHC chief justice remarked such matters observed in majority of cases.
