Eid-ul-Fitr: Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Meeting in Karachi for Moon Sighting

The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will meet for locating of Eid moon today with Mufti Munibur Rehman in the chair.

The experts have set up Special Cells to gather proof of moon locating from various parts of the nation.

Close to the Central Ruet-e-Hial Committee, zonal moon locating bodies hold their meetings in main cities of the nation to gather the confirmation with respect to the locating of crescent.

Prior, a notification was issued with respect to a zonal Ruet-e-Hilal Committee meeting in Quetta today.

The gathering will occur at Deputy Commissioner’s Complex in Quetta according to the notice. All panel individuals have been requested to guarantee their quality at the gathering.

Prior the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) said there are visible possibility of the Eid-ul-Fitr moon being located on June 15 (Friday).

As per the Met Office, there are less possibility of the moon being located on Thursday, June 14, with a chance of Eid-ul-Fitr being celebrated on Saturday, June 16 crosswise over Pakistan.

In Pakistan, the holy month of Ramazan started on Thursday, May 17.

In Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the month of Ramazan additionally started on Thursday, May 17.
