ISLAMABAD: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has issued a notice to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on a preclusion reference against him – connecting to PTI reserves.
The appeal to looking for preclusion of Imran came up for hearing before the ECP on Tuesday. The guidance for the solicitor said, Imran hosts recorded erroneous confirmation of gathering assets and, consequently, he doesn’t satisfy Article 62 and 63 of the constitution as he gathered supports through restricted sources.
He told the commission that PTI party assets adding up to $2.992 million from 2001 to 2013 through illicit sources. The ECP issued a notice to Imran in the wake of listening to the contentions from the direction of solicitor and dismissed the becoming aware of the case till December 1.
