QUETTA: Pakistan Army Major, Ali Jawad Changezi embraced martyrdom after unprovoked firing of Afghan security forces at Torkham border crossing on 14 June.
He was the son of Brigadier Khadim Hussain Changezi. Brigadier Khadim was the first Commissioner of Afghan Refugees.
Major Ali’s father arranged shelter, food and education for Afghan refugees. Former Afghan President Hamid Karzai used to be Brig. Khadim’s interpreter.
Major Ali Changezi was martyred by the same thankless Afghans.
Major Changezi was serving in Frontier Corp (FC) and was to retire in December 2016. He was from Pakistan Army Armoured Corps of 82 PMA batch.
