Defenders of Pakistan: Tribute to Pilot Officer Maryam Mukhtiyar

FAISALABAD: Chowk alongside Government College for Women University (GCWU) have been renamed after the enthusiastic Pilot Officer Maryam Mukhtiyar. She is the first female military pilot embraced “SHAHADAT” in order to defend the whole nation. Law Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan introduced the Shaheed Pilot Maryam Mukhtiyar Chowk on Monday. MNA Mian Abdul Mannan, DCO Noorul Amin Mengal, Government College Women University VC Noureen Aziz Qureshi, GCWU Registrar Kishwar Naheed Rana, other employees and a few individuals from common society were available on the event.

The real aspect of life is “With great power comes the great responsibility” and Pilot officer Maryam Mukhtiyar admiring the nature of life fights back at her best.

Sanaullah said “They set out their lives for their homeland.” He said the most ideal method for paying them a tribute was to keep their names and memory alive for the eras to come.He valued the area organization’s choice to name vital streets and chowks after saints and prominent identities.

Sanaullah said Mukhtiyar was a remarkable Pakistan Air Force pilot. “She is a national legend who accomplished great status among ladies through her exceptional capacities,” he said. Renaming the chowk after Mukhtiyar would give motivation to ladies understudies, he said.

MNA Mian Abdul Mannan said the legislature had chosen that specific chowk so that the understudies of GCWU could pick up motivation from her and find out about her administrations to the country.DCO Noorul Amin Mengal expressed gratitude toward the law pastor for introducing the Shaheed Pilot Maryam Mukhtiyar Chowk and said different streets and chowks in the city would be named after national legends keeping in mind the end goal to pay them tribute and to bring issues to light about their administrations to the nation.
