Crack down started at Lal Haveli
Rawalpindi: The Rawalpindi police have started crack down against the workers of Awami Muslim League (AWL) and has surrounded the Lal Haveli here on Thursday night, the media sources reported.
According to the details, the police have surrounded the Lal Haveli which is the residence of Awami Muslim League chief Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad.
The police officers are arresting the members and workers of Awami Muslim League and shifting them to undisclosed locations in their vehicles.
The people are chanting slogans in favor of Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad and PTI chief Imran Khan and against the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz government.
It is pertinent to mention here that Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad has announced to hold a jalsa, public meeting, against the current federal government tomorrow.
The sources claimed that Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad is not present at his residence because he has gone to Islamabad to participate in a TV program.
Meanwhile, the police have been hunting for nephew of AML chief Sheikh Rashid, who is also an active member of Awami Muslim League.
