Islamabad: Pakistan Premier Nawaz Sharif has said that China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) would be beneficiary for the entire region.
The premier was addressing the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) conference on Wednesday.

The PM, while addressing the two-day 15th Ministerial Conference of CAREC said that Pakistan was committed to boosting economic and social development through regional cooperation.
The premier added that Pakistan strongly believed that much better consequences can be achieved through regional cooperation in our fight against poverty.
Moreover, he apprehended the progress achieved by the CAREC and suggested several steps to boost the regional cooperation.
He suggested for setting up a Pool of Experts from the areas of finance, banking, capital market, energy, transport, and trade and infrastructure sectors.
These experts should be open not only to government but also to businesses, industry, non-government organizations (NGOs), researchers and academia.
The expertise taken from them would result in an intra-regional transfer of knowledge and multi-dimensional benefits for all.
Meanwhile, Nawaz Sharif offered to share Pakistan’s expertise in the stock market to other member countries of CAREC.
He said current Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) is serving a few members of CAREC on a bilateral basis.
This should be brought under the regional umbrella to cover all member states under aviation and open skies agreement.
