Court orders release of Axact CEO Shoaib Sheikh
Islamabad: An Islamabad court has ordered to release CEO of Axact and BOL media group, Shoaib Ahmed Sheikh in money laundering case, declaring the case null and void, the media reported on Wednesday.
It is pertinent to mention here that the bails of Shoaib Ahmed Sheikh and Waqas Attique had been granted by the Sindh High Court a couple of days ago.
BOL group of media CEO Shoaib Ahmed Sheikh was facing the allegations regarding fake degree case.
Meanwhile, all the other employees of BOL media group and Axact had been granted bails from the Sindh High Court a couple of days ago.
The release of the all the employees of BOL media group was a clear cut evidence of their innocence; even Chief of Karachi Police Shahid Hayat could not prove any offense against the BOL workers.
It is vital to notice that Axact and BOL TV workers have been facing severe victimization since a long period of time.
Journalistic circles and civil society have hailed Shoib Sheikh’s release in the baseless fake degree’s case, as yet another vindication of Axact and Bol groups in their ongoing saga of governmental victimisation.
