Court indicts Langov, Raisani and others in Balochistan mega corruption case

Quetta: An Accountability Court on Friday has indicted Khalid Langov the former Adviser to Chief Minister Balochistan on Finance and former provincial Secretary Finance Mushtaq Raisani and others accused in Balochistan mega corruption case.

The Accountability Court on Friday conducted hearing of the corruption case filed against the former adviser Langov, former secretary Finance Mushtaq Raisai, Suhail Majeed the contractor and frontman of Khalid Langove, former secretary local government Abdul Basit and ex-secretary local board Faisal Jammal.

The accused did not plea guilty to the charges and decided to contest accusations. The court has advised National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to present evidence and witness in the case on next hearing.

The hearing was adjourned till March 21.

The accountability bureau filed reference against accused mentioned that they in connivance with each other embezzled and misused government funds of billion of rupees, which were later used by the accused as an investment in real estate business through their agents.
