COAS announces awards for Pak Army martyrs in Quetta attack
Quetta: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif has announced military awards for the martyrs of Pakistan Army who fought the terrorists during their attack on Police Training Center in Balochistan, the media reported on Tuesday.
The COAS announced Tamgha-e Jurrat for Captain Rooh ullah and a Tamgha-e Bisalat for Naib Subedar Muhammad Ali.
The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) has stated that these soldiers put one terrorist to death and halted the other one to lessen the effects of attack.
When one of the attackers didn’t find any way to escape, he blew himself up with a bomb blast, the ISPR added.
On account of their halt, many police recruits remained successful in escaping the scene.
It is pertinent to mention here that Rooh ullah was about to marry after two months.
Father of Rooh ullah was very proud on his son’s martyrdom as he said that he already lost a son for the Land of the Pure. And this time he lost his second son in the way to Allah, ISPR spokesman claimed.
