CDA submits report in SC about offices in residential areas

ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Thursday submitted a report in the Supreme Court (SC) about government and commercial buildings in residential areas.

According to the report, offices of the law ministry, water and power, and finance ministries, the Anti-Narcotics Force, petroleum, foreign ministry, National Institute of Disaster Management, federal ombudsman, NADRA and WAPDA were yet to be shifted from the   residential areas.

Earlier, the SC had directed the CDA to take action in accordance with law against offices functioning in residential areas of the federal capital illegally.
