Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri reaches Lahore early morning today
LAHORE: Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri, chairman of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) has arrived in Pakistan today early morning, Baaghi Tv reported.
According to reports, PAT Chairman arrived at Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore from Qatar to address public meetings and lead a sit-in on June 17.
A Large crowd is already gathered at Lahore airport to welcome their head most of them are of Awami Tehreek activists and supporters. Party members have raised the party flags and pictures of their leader.
The party is arranging a Jalsa on the second anniversary of Model Town incident. The official timings of Jalsa of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) at Charing-cross will be 8 pm on 17th June.The Jalsa will start after “Aftar” at 8 pm and it will be finished before “Sheri” of next Fast at 2 am.
Tahir Ul Qadri has urged the masses to participate in the sit-in.
DCO they gave permission to Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) for Jalsa at Faisal Chowk near Charing-cross Lahore.
Total 14 people were killed and more than a hundred were injured in model town massacre with the Punjab Police outside the Minhaj-ul-Quran of Tahir-ul-Qadri when they tried to remove a barrier.
Tahir Ul Qadri said that no progress was made despite the fact that a one-sided inquiry committee had already placed the blame on the Punjab government.
