BOL again receives notice from media regulatory authority


Islamabad: The Pakistan Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) on Saturday has issued show cause notice to BOL News program “Qaum Kay Sath Aesa Nahi Chlay Ga” over airing objectionable content.

The notice asked BOL TV to justify hate speech telecast against some figures. It also directed the channel administration to provide:

  • Name of the producer of a program, his father’s name and CNIC number
  • Producer’s name, his father’s name and identity card number
  • Voice over artist name, his father’s name, CNIC number and copy of agreement with BOL News.
