Atif Aslam takes credit for introducing Mahira in movies
Mahira Khan and Atif Aslam are two big names in our entertainment industry. Both are recognized for their work in Pakistan as well as across the borders.
Mahira Khan began her career as a VJ in 2006, while her acting debut was through the film Bol in 2011. She became popular due to drama serial ‘Humsafar’ in which she starred along Fawad Khan and earned praise as well as several awards.
While, Atif Aslam’s career kick started in the year 2004 alongside Goher Mumtaz via band ‘Jal’ but he later became a solo singer and performed at several platforms. His songs are hits and he has several fans all around the world.
Recently, Atif Aslam has claimed that he introduced Mahira Khan to the film industry.
He also added that she was a junior at that time and he was the one who put forth his suggestion of casting Mahira in Bol in front of the movie’s director Shoaib Mansoor. He had shown keen interest in working with her by choosing her among two or three other actresses.
Now, at least we know that how a gem was discovered…
Mahira hasn’t responded to the claims yet but it is being assumed that her comments in this regard would be welcoming.
Today, she is a big name in the industry and among the most paid actresses of Pakistan. She is considered as a diva and praised throughout the country. She has won several awards for being a true sensation and has also been fortunate enough to share screen with Shahrukh khan in the film ‘Raees’. She has also been named as the most beautiful woman of Pakistan in 2012. The country truly sees her as an asset, admires her and hopes to see her progressing with every passing day.
