Rawalpindi: Around 35 suspects have been arrested across in the last 24 hours from all across the country, as Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad continues in full swing, Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) stated.
According to the military media wing, six intelligence based operations (IBOs) and 35 cordon and search operations were conducted across Pakistan.
Fourteen suspects including a Baloch nationalist worker and an Afghan national were apprehended during operations in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock and Dera Ghazi Khan.
Security forces also recovered large cache of weapons, ammunition, foreign passport and currency from arrested suspects.
Joint search and intelligence based operations were also conducted by Punjab Rangers, police and intelligence agencies in Punjab province.
Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad was launched on February 22, after the emerged layer of terrorism in the month which killed over hundred all across the country. Terrorists attacked security personnel several times in February, also attacked Mall Road Lahore, where drug companies held the protest, killing at least fourteen including police personnel.
Sehwan attack, killing 88, was also the pat of the series of attack.
Radd-ul-Fasaad is aimed to elimte terrorism from the country targeting terrorists, militants and their residuals.
