Asif Zardari, Faryal Talpur bail extended upto Dec 10 in money laundering case

KARACHI, November 13 (Online): Banking Court (BC) has extended bail of former President Asif Ali Zardari and his sister Faryal Talpur till December 15 in Money laundering case.

Asif Ali Zardari and Faryal Talpur appeared in BC Karachi Tuesday.

The learned judge conducted brief hearing of the case. Faryal Talpur left the court soon after marking her attendance. Asif Ali Zardari reached the court late. He left the court without marking his attendance. The learned judge said Asif Ali Zardari attendance has not been marked and he has gone without marking his attendance.

The court said Asif Zardari should be called again. Former president again came to banking court and marked his attendance.

The court while extending the bail in respect of both of the accused adjourned the hearing of the case till December 10.

Asif Zardari and his sister Faryal Talpur were released on bail and last time they had appeared in the court on September 25.

It may be recalled a Joint Investigation Team (JIT) constituted by Supreme Court (SC) is probing into the case of laundering of money through fake bank accounts. This case is pending hearing in SC as well.
