Army jet crash near Gujranwala kills two pilots

At least two pilots died after a Pakistan Army training aircraft Mushaq crashed on Tuesday near Gujranwala.

Major Azhar and Captain Ahmad are the martyred army men according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The jet fighter was on a routine training session when the tragic incident occurred that resulted in the immediate death of the pilots flying the jet.

Earlier, almost 12 army personnel were killed when the helicopter descended near Mansehra.

In another such incident in May 2015, the ambassadors of Norway as well as Philippines and at least six other people were killed when the army helicopter was crashed in Naltar area of Gilgit.
