APHC condemns illegal detention of leaders
Srinagar, June 26 (Online):- All Parties Hurriyet Conference has said that RSS-backed puppet regime has resorted to brutal measures against Hurriyet leaders and activists to weaken their commitment to the Kashmir cause.
According to KMS, the APHC in a statement issued in Srinagar, today, maintained that the continued illegal detention of APHC Secretary General, Shabbir Ahmad Shah and other Hurriyet leaders betrayed the frustration of the authorities. The statement said that the Kashmiris could never be intimidated into submission through such oppressive tactics unleashed by Indian army and police.
Meanwhile, a complete shutdown was observed in Pampore area of Pulwama district against the killing of two Kashmiri Mujahid in an encounter with Indian troops in the area, yesterday. All shops and business establishments were closed while traffic was off the road. Eight personnel of Indian Central Reserve Police Force were also killed and around two dozens were injured in the encounter.
An anti-India protest march was held from Partap Park to Ghanta Ghar in Srinagar, today. The protesters were carrying symbolic coffins of the innocent Kashmiris killed by Indian army-backed renegade Papa Kishtwari. Hurriyet leaders Yasmeen Raja, Javaid Ahmad Mir and advocate Babar Qadri were among those who participated in the protest.
On the other hand, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred two more Kashmiri youth in Uri area of Baramulla district, last night.
