Claimed, and rightly so after the trailers, the most uncommon father and son love story, 102 Not Out, is scheduled to be release internationally on 4th May 2018.
The cutest comedy of the year is based on a Gujrati play written by Soumya Joshi, by the same name. Chatting about the film, Bachchan, who portrays the 102-year-old man enjoying every minute of the life, said, “Teaming up with Chintu ji (Rishi Kapoor) after so many years, after so many successful historic films, has been the greatest joy during ‘102 Not Out’.
It is an original story with a very unique plot outline with Hamesh Shukla’s skilled direction and a most capable crew, shall make render an invaluable experience. Rishi Kapoor, who plays the 75-year-old son of Bachchan in the film, added, “Being in 102 Not Out brought back a lot of fond memories and fun I have shared with Amitji during my younger days. I am glad to reunite with him on such a special and unusual film. It will definitely delight our fans!”
Moreover, Shukla added, “102 Not Out is an extremely amusing and an efficacious Gujarati play that has won over the youth and family audiences across the board. The idea of transforming it into a Hindi feature generated from the fact that the very theme is universal; parent and child relationship. Parent and child relationship reign supreme! All the actors shared a sense of responsibility for the theme of this film. I would make sure that this movie turns out to be the best cinematic experience for my audience”.
