8,000 cops to guard disqualified Nawaz upon Lahore arrival

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz has announced to warmly welcome the disqualified former prime minister Nawaz Sharif to Lahore.

Nawaz will be arriving in Lahore on Sunday (August 6). According to sources, more than 8,000 police personnel will be deputed for the security of Nawaz Sharif. Teams of 50 Elite Force will also be deputed for his security.

The former prime minister will travel through Motorway. Lahore Police have decided to make foolproof security arrangements for his arrival.

The personnel of Special Branch will also be appointed for the security duty. The rally will be aerially monitored. A suggestion of suspending mobile phone service on the rally route is also under consideration.
