5 TTP terrorists hanged in Kohat jail

Rawalpindi: Five terrorists, affiliated with Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, were executed on Wednesday in district jail Kohat, reports Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

All five executed men were sentenced by military courts on charges of terrorism. ISPR statement added that all were involved in attacks on army and other law enforcement personnel and also admitted their crimes.

Details of Convicts: 

  • Shoukat Ali, son of Abdul Jabbar, was involved in attacks on armed forces and law enforcement officials. He was the member of Member of the banned outfit Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP); tried on five charges.
  • Imdad Ullah, son of Abdul Wajid, was involved in destroying an educational institution in Buner district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), and attacking armed forces and law enforcement personnel. He was the member of Member of the banned outfit Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP); tried on five charges.
  • Sabir Shah, son of Syed Ahmed Shah, was involved in attacking armed forces and law enforcement personnel. He was the member of Member of the banned outfit Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP); tried on five charges.
  • Khandan, son of Dost Muhammad Khan, was involved in attacking armed forces, member of  banned outfit Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). He was tried on five charges.
  • Anwar Ali, son of Fazal Ghani, was involved in attacking armed forces; member of banned outfit Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). He was tried on three charges.
