40 killed as Damascus hit by twin blasts

Damascus: At least 40 killed on Saturday as two bombs hit Damascus, the capital of Syria; several are also reported injured.

Two explosive devices by terrorists exploded near the Bab Al-Saghir cemetery in Bab Musalla, killing several and leaving many injured, says Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).

Bab Al Saghir is among seven gates of Damascus, which also refers to an ancient graveyard having several Shia mausoleums that attract pilgrims from all around the world.
