12 militants along with their two commanders killed by Frontier Corps

QUETTA: On Monday, it was claimed by the Frontier Corps personnel to have killed at least 12 alleged militants, including two key commanders, in Balochistan’s Kohlu district.

Spokesman Frontier Corps Khan Wasey stated that the malefactors in Kohli’s Nasau area were slayed in interchange of fire during a security forces’ operation in the area, and a large supply of arms and ammunition was recuperated from their custody,.

He also informed that the malefactors were involved in attacks on security forces and vital national installations in the area.

The commanders of the radical group were identified as Jamir and Baloch Khan, Wasey said, adding that the dead criminals belonged to a banned militant organisation operating in the area.

Exchange of fire is still underway,Wasey said.

Security forces have strengthened their actions in Balochistan after the declaration of National Action Plan to combat terrorism in the country.
