A mosque that was under refurbishment has collapsed in Somalia, injuring over 39 people while killing at least 15 people.
The incident happened during the Friday prayers in the mosque in capital of Mogadishu. Whereas the details emerged on Saturday.
Hundreds of people are described to have been inside the mosque when it had collapsed while some are still believed to be trapped under the ruins.
An engineer on refurbishment project has been detained on the suspicion of negligence, reported the local media.
The heavy rains have fallen on area over the past few days.
