Legends are not born everyday and the most prominent sign of the legend is that he always learns from his mistakes and accepts his defeat open-heatedly.
If two teams are getting down on the ground of battle then definitely one team has to loose. But the thing which matters the most is to encourage each other’s spirit and enthusiasm. The match between Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmi was just a rise and fall of good luck and bad luck. Both teams made their efforts to their last, just we can have an overlook on the their last match of PSL-3. The catch drop made the match more thrilling.
According to a report of Pakistan Today, the mentor of Quetta Gladiators not only appreciated the performance of the winning team but also praised for Pakistan. While talking to media on Friday, declared Karachi and Pakistan safe for cricket.
He said, ” I’m happy to be here. I’m hoping that the PSL final in Karachi may inspire those who felt that Pakistan wasn’t safe enough for them to come… that everything is okay. I am hoping to send a message to the world that Karachi, and Pakistan at large are very safe.”
His words portray an image of a sportsman, despite his team not reaching the final he did not pass any harsh comments for the management or anything else and by saying these words he pays his regards to Pakistan and all that love he had got from Pakistan.
He mentioned about his love for our land in his interview, ” I am very honoured and privileged to be in such an environment where you feel lots of love. It cannot get any better than this.” Pakistan is the country of love and peace.”
Karachi National Stadium gives very pleasing memories to Sir Vivan Richards, he had played an innings of 181 runs in 1987 against island- nation in the world cup match. So we can say he has special attachment with the country of Pakistan.
Sir Vivan Richards has expressed a bright hope for the Pakistani cricket, The Legend mentioned it as ” breeding ground ” for the young talent of Pakistan. And we will see in future the stars like Shoaib Akhtar, Wasim Akram, Waqar Younas and Inzmam-ul-Haq who will be refined through PSL and shall serve Pakistan as the legends did in the past.
