PTI submits reference against Shehbaz Sharif


Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf submitted a reference against Chief Mintier Punjab Mian Shehbaz Sharif; the reference was submitted in Provincial Assembly of Punjab.

Reference is submitted to declare the disqualification of Chief Minister of Punjab for corruption, to show his assets and for unlawful usage of his authorities.

The reference was submitted by Member of Provincial Assembly Mian Mahmood-ur-Rashid, Member of Provincial Assembly Aijaz Chaudhry and other MPAs; reference is prepared by Babar Awan.

Reference alleges that in 2016 Ittefaq Foundries and Chaudhry Sugar Mills replacement was declared as unlawful by Lahore High Court. It is stated more that in 1999 London Court declared Shehbaz Shari a delinquent of US $17 million. In February 2000 Shebaz Sharif remained involve in money laundering of heavy amount of $17 million through which he cleared Park Lane flats in London which all does not suit to any chief minister.

Opposition submitted reference to the speaker under Article-63 of constitution and requested to send it to the Election Commission.
