FAISALABAD: Police registered case on Friday, against Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader ,Chaudhry Sher Ali over the charged of violating the code-of-conduct assigned for local body elections.
Police registered cases against Sher Ali and three other party workers on the allegations of violating the law and order as well as he used speakers on Thursday, during a workers conference in Dhobi Ghatt region.
Chaudhry Sher Ali is the father of State Minister Abid Sher Ali and also an ex mayor of Faisalabad. Both are already in hot water due to the ongoing clashes between Rana Sana Ullah and Chaudhry Sher Ali. Both sides are blaming each other and unveiling the wrong doings of the opponents. Chaudhry Sher Ali also called Rana Sana Ullah a murderer and revealed his criminal background. Moreover, Rana Sana Ullah, in return, behaved badly to the old Sher. This went annoying for Sher Ali’s son and he also jumped in to the stream of fire. He also gave statements against Rana Sana in live talk shows which made the situation even worst.
Chaudhary Shafiq Ahmad Gujjar, PML-N MPA Mian Tahir Jameel and former MPA Khawaja Muhammad Islam are also among those against whom the cases have been filed.
However, police have not made any kind of arrest against those yet.
