Karachi, April 18 (Online): Former petroleum minister Dr. Asim Hussain on Monday predicted that Nawaz Sharif went to London to take care of Panama leaks issue and that Prime Minister would not come back to Pakistan.
The former state minister passed these comments in a casual media talk in court premises before hearing.
Dr Asim said that politicians went on foreign tours to handle situation after Panama leaks.
Asim, close aide of Zardari, claimed that he has more “leaks information”.
PM Nawaz left for London on April 13 for his medical checkup, as told by the spokesperson of the PM House. The authorities concerned stated that the Prime Minister had postponed the visit several times earlier due to important commitments.
It was the first time when Prime Minister’s alleged heart condition was disclosed.
Earlier, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar had said that the Prime Minister would return soon. The prime minister had an intervention on his heart some years ago that went “terribly wrong,” Khan told reporters in Islamabad.
On Sunday, the Prime Minister himself said that he would return soon as his health has improved.
