Panama leaks exposed the Sharif family and still if action is not taken against them, it would be completely unjust.
The New York Times’ anti national reporter, Declan Walsh and The Guardian published news regarding the fake degree scam and named Axact in it. Surprisingly, the government got active in only 4-hours after the publishing of the news and held a press conference stating, “Any kind of pressure will be accepted during the investigation of Axact scandal.”
Then, right after 8-hours of the breaking of the news, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) seemed to be over active and raided the Axact offices and in a time span of only 24-hours, all the offices of Axact were sealed.
Then within 2 days, the employees of Axact including the CEO Shoaib Sheikh.
In the meantime, at least 30,000 employees of the organization were left unemployed.
According to The Guardian, Panama revealed about how the Sharif family transferred billions of rupees to abroad.
The names of son of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Hussain Nawaz and daughter Maryam Nawaz are on the top of the list of those corrupt leaders.
According to the leaks, they transferred their business and properties abroad to remain safe from the tax side.
Now the nation again hopes that interior minister, Chudhery Nisar Ali Khan will take notice the way he took in Axact case.
Moreover, the question is will FIA come in to action quickly again? Will Nawaz and the family involved in corruption would be arrested? Will their accounts be sealed? Will they take any proper step to bring the assets of this family back to the country?
The way Shoaib Sheikh and his employees were sealed and detained on he basis of a false case, will Nawaz Sharif, Shahbaz Sharif, Husain Nawaz and Maryam Nawaz be jailed too?
And the way media trial was done over Axact issue, be used to prove the Sharif family culprit?
These are the questions which may or may not be answered as the role of government or law-making organisations are well known.
