ISLAMABAD: (Online): The Overseas Pakistan Foundation (OPF)’ Board of Governors (BoG).has approved increase in financial compensation amount of heirs of deceased and paralyzed overseas Pakistanis from Rs. 250,000 to 0.4 million rupees.
In order to solve the problems facing by overseas Pakistanis and their families two committees were established for Housing and Welfare departments during the meeting.
OPF BoG 132nd meeting was held here under the chair of Chairman Barrister Amjed Malik.
The meeting was attended by Muhammad Zubair state minister of privatization, Khizer Hyyat Khan federal secretary ministry for overseas and development of human resources, Managing Director of OPF Habibur Rehman, Capt.(r) Shahin Khalid (USA) and others.
To redress complains and provision of facilities, efficiencies of all OPF counters situated at all airports of Pakistan would be increased the members stated in the meeting.
Board members, while expressing satisfaction over the ongoing developments projects in OPF Housing Scheme Valley Zone –V Islamabad, directed to complete the project in stipulate time.
Managing Director OPF Habibur Rehman Khan briefed the members of meeting regarding facilities provided to overseas and their families. Chairman of the Board said that overseas is playing imperative role in the development of the country.
