Lahore: Punjab law minister Rana Sana Ullah has said that operation against the terrorists is for the sake of survival of Pakistan, therefore, search operation is underway in specific areas of Punjab.
Talking to media men here Friday he vowed to weed out terrorism from the country as soon as possible.
Rana Sanaullah said operation against terrorists has been expedited in the province and there is no no-go area in the Southern Punjab.
We are going to take solid action against anti-state and anti-people elements wherever they will be found. Therefore search operation is continuing in specific areas of Punjab, he announced.
Hundreds of people have been arrested during the operation; he said adding forceful action has been initiated in the light of investigation made from the detained persons.
He stated that police, Rangers and CTD are participating in the operation. No one should indulge in political point scoring in terms of operation against the terrorists, he added.
He said that action is being taken against the arrested people in the light of investigations.
Citing to operation Zarb-e-Azb he said that our security agencies have achieved vital successes during operation.
Major network of terrorists has been dismantled and only a few elements are left who will be brought to their logical end soon.
Terrorists are beasts and there can be no sympathy for them, he underlined.
