Torkham: Pakistan and Afghanistan have agreed that no Afghan would travel to Pakistan without valid travel documents after 30th of this month.
The consensus reached at a meeting in the border town of Torkham between civil and military officials of Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Kabul, however, has urged Islamabad to relax travel restrictions for Afghan citizens, especially women, children and patients entering Pakistan.
The meeting also reviewed border security arrangements.
Earlier despite being an international border, hundreds of Afghan refugees have been crossing into Pakistan via the Torkham border on daily basis without having any valid travel documents.
