Musharraf to challenge property seizure verdict

Former president Pervez Musharraf has decided to challenge his property seizure verdict of Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Benazir Bhutto murder case.

“I am politically entangled in this case. I will face the case upon returning to the country. This case is baseless, fabricated and based on complete lie.”

In a statement issued by All Pakistan Muslim League (APML), Musharraf said he has no link with the Benazir Bhutto murder case. “I have been victimized politically. There is no proof against me except the statement of Mark Siegal and that too (Siegal’s statement) had been proved wrong and meaningless by my lawyers.”

Musharraf said his legal team is reviewing the property seizure verdict and will take due legal action against the decision.
