Karachi: According to unofficial and unconfirmed results, Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s candidate Muhammad Kamal has won the by-election for the National Assembly’s constituency NA-245 Karachi.
On the other hand, MQM candidate Faisal Rafique remained successful on the provincial assembly PS-115 in the by-elections.
Earlier, when polling process was underway for NA-245 Karachi by-poll, PTI contestant Amjadullah Khan announced to withdraw his nomination and joined Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).
On the other hand MQM which already had a soft image in public has now further strengthened its grip on Karachi.
