Media is forbidden to take footage in National Assembly premises

Islamabad: Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq, on Friday, forbade media to take footage in the bounds of National Assembly.

While talking to media outside the National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq said that media will not be allowed to take any video within the borders of National Assembly.

Ayaz Sadiq in his media talk stated that allegations against him for being biased are false; he will talk again with prime Minister for his resignation from the post. He said that on Thursday both governing party and PTI’s leader behavior was unfair and against parliamentary dignity.

On Thursday chaos was observed in lower house of parliament when sounds of thief were continuously raised by PTI memebers against Prime Minister. PTI leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi asked Speaker National Assembly to move privilege motion against Prime Minister for contradictory statements about London properties and his family members’ businesses.

Qureshi also raised slogans against PM and criticized him on Petroleum Minister Khaqan Abbasi’s moved to stop PTI members for raising obscene remarks against PM. PTI members got alarmed from Abbasi’s body language and fight broke out following abuses and punches.

Speaker suspended Assembly proceeding but was accused by some elements for showing biased behaviour towards PMLN. On which he talked of his resignation and also forbade media to take any footage in the premises of National Assembly.
