Lahore: Chief of justice and Democratic Party (JDP) and former Chief Justice (CJ) Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has said how PML-N government will keep Pakistan secure when it cannot keep Lahore secure.
He held if government cannot discharge its responsibilities then it should go home.
“ PML-N government spent billion of rupees on Lahore. But life and property of citizens of Lahore is not safe. It seems from bomb blast in Public Park Lahore if government cannot make Lahore secure then how can it make the entire Pakistan secure. Government registered case of Pathankot incident against its own citizens on one phone call”,
He was visiting Jinnah hospital here on Friday to inquire about the health of those injured in Gulshan-e-Iqbal incident.
He underlined that Rangers and NAB along with security agencies should have launched operation earlier in Punjab. Rangers conducted successful operations in Sindh which are laudable, he added.
He remarked “arresting RAW agent is a big achievement but no good response has come from government following the arrest of Indian agent. If government can not discharge its obligations then it should go home.
