Government scheduling to make Quranic education compulsory in Public Schools

ISLAMABAD: The government is scheduling to make ‘Quranic education’ obligatory in all public schools in Pakistan.

Minister of State for Federal Education Muhammad Balighur Rehman stated that ‘Nazra Quran’ will be educated to students of grade 1 to 5, and proper ‘Quranic education’ with conversion to students from grade 6 to 10 in all public schools.

Talking at the 4th Annual Day prepared by Al Huda International School at the Pak-China Friendship Centre, the minister said that the procedure would be originated after referring all provinces through the Inter-Provincial Education Minister’s Conference.

Rehman strained the prerequisite to educate children and inspire them to research and discover different subjects, fields and ideas.
