Former leader of Muttahida Qauomi Movement (MQM), Irum Azeem Farooque, leveled allegations of harassment against ex-party colleagues.
In a video statement, Farooque, who had joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf last year, slammed Amir Khan and Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui for their sexually offensive behaviors. From staring to verbal harassment, she claimed that Amir Khan made her feel very uncomfortable during party meetings.
Irum further revealed that she had complained about the irritating behavior of Khan to Haider Abbasi Rizvi as well. At the face value, she claimed, MQM leaders call everyone “Baji” but these Baji’s of 90 are exploited by the male authorities in ways unimaginable. According to Farooque, the moral compass of Amir Khan and Siddiqui is extremely narrow; they are not only misogynistic but hypocrite as well in their behavior.
Talking about Siddiqui, Farooque told that he had sent marriage proposals to everyone with whom he stayed in the US as he never had a house in USA.
“There was a time when workers were given respect in the party, but those time are no more.”, said Farooque.
She further told, “people of Buhaddarabad faction were all goons, adding that the MQM-P would be banned due to some persons very soon”.
After the video surfaced, MQM-P leader Siddiqui took to Twitter for response where he responded to Farooque.
