Mumbai: Bollywood Khan latest release Fan even has got tremendous praise from critics and fans at the same time. Moreover, the film has failed to show the expected action at the box office this Sunday.
This weekend Fan became the highest weekend opener at the box office in 2016, beating Airlift of Akshay Kumar, which had managed to maintain its position for four long months.
However, on Sunday, Shahrukh’s film Fan failed to show major growth at the box office, according to trade analyst Taran Adarsh.

The film, directed by Maneesh Sharma and produced by Yash Raj Films, made a grand opening at the box office on Friday with Rs 19.20 crore net collection. But on Saturday and Sunday, the collections went downward.

Whereas Film managed to break a record in Pakistan.
An official for Geo films which has distributed the film in Pakistan claimed the collections for the first three days all over Pakistan has already exceeded 50 million rupees. The biggest generation of revenue has come in Karachi, and Lahore and the fans have given the film a thumbs up as bookings for the next one week are sold out in most cineplexes and theatres, he said.
