Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Saturday, took notice of Imran Khan’s audio message and rejected the application sent by Pakistan Tehreek -e- Insaf (PTI) over the violation of ECP’s rule of ending election campaigns on Friday night, October 9th, by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
Nawaz Sharif, earlier on the day, appeared and held a press conference and promoted Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) for the constituency where by elections are up, NA 122. He violated the code-of-conduct introduced by ECP itself. The ECP is continuously neglecting and violating its own rules.
It issued a notice too in which it was said that PTI chief Imran Khan has violated the code-of-conduct by issuing an audio message. However, premier’s press conference is declared legal.
Imran Khan had already warned ECP to not to show any biased behavior and also he asked to keep the elections fair and free, otherwise, he would be on streets with his followers. He also said that he will not let the government to work any more if any irregularity occurred.
Yesterday, while addressing to a massive crowd, Imran Khan said, “They thought that Lahore is theirs but they didn t know, we have a secret weapon named Aleem Khan.”
He added: Aleem Khan has won hearts of people and my heart is now saying that the win is of Truth.
He also claimed, “During 1989, Khalid Khawaja claimed that I took money from Usama Bin Laden and handed over to Nawaz Sharif to let BB’s gvt down.”
He also asked Nawaz Sharif that why his children are doing business abroad? He told the nation that he wants to bring money here and invest in Pakistan.
He highlighted the difference between Imran Khan and Nawaz Sharif and announced that Imran Khan is a democratic leader.
PML-N has now started using forced measures to get votes for its candidate Mr Ayaz Sadiq in NA-122.
According to ‘Baaghi TV’ reports, a private company named Pakland International, has issued an internal Office Order on October 9 with the subject, ‘Oath for Vote’.
The office order of the said company, clearly forces its employees to cast their votes for Mr. Ayaz Sadiq; failing that order employment of the workers shall be terminated with immediate effect.
The employees have also been forced to convince their families to cast their votes for the PML-N candidate, Mr. Ayaz Sadiq.
