Cricket: India beat Aussies in fourth Test, clinch series

Lokesh Rahul hit an unbeaten half-century to help India register a comprehensive eight-wicket victory over Australia and clinch the four-match series 2-1 in Dharamsala on Tuesday.

Chasing 106 for victory, the hosts cantered home in the first session on day four to reclaim the Border-Gavaskar Trophy that was won by Australia in 2014-2015.

Rahul (51) and Ajinkya Rahane (38) put on an unbeaten 60-run stand for the third wicket after India, who resumed the day on 19-0, lost two wickets in the morning session.
