A Chinese Airline unveiled their new uniforms at Paris Couture Week that featured some of the biggest names in Chinese Fashion.
The airline’s gorgeous new attire stunned the fashion world after it debuted the stylish new range of uniforms for its cabin crew (air hosts and hostesses).
The graceful new attire will be provided to the crew members of Hainan Airlines, the largest private air transport company in China.
The uniforms were designed by the renowned Chinese designer, Laurence Xu. The uniforms have the combined elements of “classical, time-honoured Oriental aesthetics and the silhouette of a modern Western suit”.
The beautiful overcoat for the female employees is inspired by the Hogwarts attire, whereas the one-piece dress is reminiscent of the traditional Chinese cheongsam and repurposes other Chinese elements like cloud drawings, waves and even a Chinese mythical bird.
The male version of the uniforms is a bit less exorbitant and more inspired by the Western style, with a double-breasted overcoat and some smaller elements of traditional Chinese culture.
Xu Fei, brand director of Hainan Airlines said, “We are not only creating a new uniform but also showing the internationalized image of our airline. Especially on international routes, we would like to let passengers know that China is modern and trendy.”
