Chief Justice takes suo motu action in case of 6 years old girl rape


Islamabad: Chief Justice of Pakistan took suo motu action in case of 6 years old girl rape in Karachi. He directed Inspector General (IG) Sind to submit report to the court within 48 hours.

From the area of Korangi Town in Karachi six years old girl with cut throat was found. Unknown people who raped her, thought her dead and put her body in the stream of Korangi Town, from where she was taken to Civil Hospital in severe condition.

Girl named Sawera was operated after which she is being kept in ICU ward of the hospital. Doctor informed that from two ends her throat and wrist were cut. Residents of the area informed police upon which it arrived at scene. The body of Tooba shows severe torture marks on it.

According to initial investigations, Sawera is a student in private school at Korangi Karachi, aged 6 years and her father’s name is Shabir. She was being raped and tortured after which criminals cut her throat and wrist and dumped her in a stream at Korangi Town after taking her as dead.

Chief Justice of Pakistan, Mian Saqib Nisar took suo motu action on the report of Sawera’s rape and directed IG Sind to present a report within next two days.
