Islamabad, June 29 (Online): Islamabad police along with Pakistan Rangers and other security agencies conducted search operation in various areas of Sabzi Mandi police station area and arrested 32 suspects including seven Afghan nationals, a police source said.
The operation was conducted in the areas of Sabzi Mandi police station including sectors I-10/1, I-11 and its adjacent areas. During search operation more than 130 houses were screened. Police released 18 persons after their identity verification.
SSP Islamabad Sajid Kiani has said that the purpose of this search operation is to ensure high vigilance in the city and every effort will be made to ensure protection of the lives and property of citizens. He has also appealed to the citizens to remain vigilant and inform
police in case of any suspicious activity around them.
